As part of our latest release, we’ve introduced the ability to change a contact’s role!

    What does this mean?

It means that you now have the ability to change a contact’s role (e.g., employee, vendor, prospect) to any other role.

For those using Quickbooks, this feature will only be available for contacts that are not currently synced with Quickbooks. To edit the role of a contact that is synced, you’ll need to make the change in your Quickbooks.

    Where can I find this?

If you click on any contact and select edit in the upper right on the screen, you will see a dropdown box under the Name field where you can modify the contact’s role.

Enjoy! And, as always, we welcome your feedback around this new feature.

    Dear Customer Manager customers,

We’d like to extend our gratitude to you for sticking with us while Intuit worked hard to resolve our service outages.  We recognize how frustrating it must have been to not have access to your data and want to thank you for your patience and support during this time.

Not sure if you saw this, but wanted to pass along the link to a letter from our CEO Brad Smith expressing his sincerest apologies for all the service interruptions.

cmm_icon_bb_150x1361Our Customer Manager for Mobile users have been managing their customers wherever and whenever they are: from the tennis court, while waiting in-line at Starbucks, and even while in queue at the DMV. We realize that quick and convenient access to your customer information is important for managing your business, and we’re excited to announce Customer Manager for mobile’s newest feature: Keep Me Signed In.

What is “Keep Me Signed In?”

Simply check the “Keep Me Signed In” box on your Customer Manager for Mobile’s home screen and you’ll never have to worry about entering your credentials ever again! No need to remember your PIN, and no need to re-enter your information every time you launch the app. Access to your customer information is faster and more convenient than ever.

Can I turn off “Keep Me Signed In” if I lose my phone or if I want additional security?

Yes. There are several ways to turn off this feature after you’ve checked the box at sign-in. Simply click “Go Mobile” in the Resources box then “Activate Now,” and you will be taken to your personalized mobile management page. From here you can change your PIN, deactivate your phone and put your phone on hold. Changing your PIN or putting the phone on hold will disable the “Keep Me Signed In” feature.

I’d like more information about this feature.

We love talking with our customers, especially about great new features like this one. Please feel free to send us an email support@customermanager.com or call 1-800-878-9569 9am-5pm PST.

Thanks for using Customer Manager for Mobile, and we’re looking forward to delivering more great updates soon.
