Some exciting news from Customer Manager. We will soon be coming out of beta thanks to a lot of hard work from our team and all the great feedback we’ve gotten from our Beta customers.
If you ARE a Beta customer… we can’t thank you enough for all the input and suggestions! We couldn’t have gotten this far without you and we sincerely hope that you’ll continue to use our service (and keep giving us feedback!). Look for more information from us through email and directly in Customer Manager letting you know about our transition. You’ll have plenty of time to understand what’s happening, while you continue using the service before the beta officially ends.
When you decide to continue on with Customer Manager your data will be transferred seamlessly from the Beta program to the new service, so you can continue to run your business without interruption.
It is an amazing time for us!

Whoa… Not so fast!! We are still having issues with getting several people on the same calendar… We have 2 users anf now trying to add the 3rd.
A month ago, we figured out we were all independantly signing up - and then inviting each other - which had the effect of creating 3 separate calendars - none of which were the same.
After starting over - with a new account - we used the first account as the “admin” account, and invited the second user - who pretended like this was the first they had ever heard of CM. They followed the instructions and created a new account for themselves - and it worked! The calendar sharing works fine.
Now, and since, you changed the login screen - or maybe for another reason… we tried to invite the 3rd user (today). They also pretended to be “new” and created a new account. This time, however, it asked for her company name - and wouldn’t proceed without it.
Our 2nd user was NOT asked for this a couple weeks ago - and did not provide it.
Now, the 3rd user can log in - but she is treated like and Admin - but cannot see what we have on our calendars or see us as users.
Also, she is still showing as “pending” on my system - even though she shows as “active on her own”. It’s almost like (again) she is off on her own account somewhere and not linked to ours?! Please help!!?
Hi Dean. We will contact you right away at the email you provided in your Blog post. Thanks for your support, now let us get you some help. We did make some improvements to the way people can invite users in preparation for coming out of beta. It is a lot easier, sounds like three were a couple wrinkles with your account. We’ll get it fixed.
Guys, I think this application sounds great but I am waiting to be able to upload contact/calendar etc. from CM 2.5 which we currently use at our office. Will this feature be available this year or should I set a reminder for 2010? Thanks
Hi Greg. It is tough to tell. We will have Excel import coming very soon. That should make it simple to get contact information into Customer Manager.
I would like to purchase the subscription, but am wondering what other features will be added? I’m a little disappointed more information isn’t pulled from Quickbooks regarding financials, invoices, etc. Also, the task list has no way of organizing between employees and importance of tasks. So please clarify for me, if you will, the plans for the next stage before I make my decision. Thank you.
Hi Mary Anne.
We are absolutely committed to getting additional functionality out to our customers as fast as we possibly can… and each of our users gets that additional value when released, automatically.
For example, our next release (coming very shortly) has more of the financial information you mention like invoices, estimates and payments from QuickBooks. Sounds like you were waiting for it.
Thanks for your feedback! We hope you’ll chose to use Customer Manager for your business.
