    Dear Beta Customers:

Yesterday marked a huge milestone for Customer Manager! After 6 months and 8 major releases, we are making the official move from Beta to a paid service.

First, we want to say THANK YOU to each of you! Thousands of you have signed up since we launched Beta. You have shared invaluable input, ideas and suggestions on how we can make the service better and we are so appreciative.

Now that we are a paid service, we are more committed than ever to providing tremendous value for your investment and exceeding your expectations for Customer Manager, so we hope you’ll continue on the journey with us. Sign in now to update your customer profile from Beta user to paid customer.

So you must be wondering, “Okay, what happens now?”
As a token of our appreciation, we are offering an additional 30-days for our Beta Testers to make the transition to the paid service. What this means is that beta testers can continue to use Customer Manager without any interruptions for the next 30 days (till November 26th, 2009). We encourage you to subscribe to the paid service before November 26th to ensure your data is transferred seamlessly to the paid plan and you can continue to run your business without interruption.

How much does Customer Manager cost and what’s included?
Intuit Customer Manager is Free for your first 30-days and then just $9.95/month for up to 5 users - for more information, check our website. If you need to add more users, we can help. Please contact support directly. We continue to offer all the features you’ve already been using including access to Customer Manager for Mobile Beta, secure storage of your data, 24/7 access to your account and product support at no extra cost.

Once again, on behalf of the whole team at Customer Manager, we’d like to THANK YOU for your participation in our Beta and for helping us reach this incredible goal! We hope you’ll join us for this next chapter of growth!

    Cheers,

    Your Team at Customer Manager

This is disappointing to see - not the move from Beta, but the return to the people who helped make this transition possible.

Countless hours, hundreds of surveys filled and tests performed by the multitude of small-business beta users and Intuit returns the favor by extending the beta period an additional 30 days.

No user discounts, extended benefits - really nothing other than saying ‘Thank You’. This is the second Intuit beta I’ve been a part of that has seen this type of result.

This will be the last time I participate in an Intuit beta program - and I’m glad the ‘Share on Facebook’ link will allow me to share this same expertise - for others to by leary of participating in these types of betas when open-source or ’shareware’ software beta participation pays the user back further.

      Hi Arthur,

We’ve very honest when saying how much we appreciate our beta customers… both in beta and now out of beta we can’t deliver without your feedback and participation. With an extended 30 day grace period and the 30 day free trial we knew providing 60 days of service to our beta customers was a small thank you, but we hoped it would be well received.

I hope you reconsider helping Intuit in the future and I hope that Customer Manager is helping you with your business. We couldn’t have improved it without your feedback and assistance! Thanks again.
