When will you be able to import data from other contact management systems into Custom Manager?

CM 2.5 had problems that drve us crazy. Which of these problems has the new version fixed?

      1. When adding a new name, if we enter it in the format “last name, first name” the CM would switch the first and last names because of the comma. Essentially, it disallowed us from listing our clients by last name in QB.

      2. Our multiple users had to go through a lenthy syncing to the depot process to add or receive recently added info

      3. OUr admin had to go through a very lengthy process to add a name (or import a name) from ot to QB in syncing.

      thanks

      Hi Chris,

Great questions and thanks for your interest in Customer Manager! For complete information about Customer Manager features, please check out our website - http://customermanager.com. To answer your questions:

      - Customer Manager tracks names in this format “Last name, first name”
      - There is no depot process in Customer Manager. Once you set up Sync with QuickBooks (2009 or later), information is automatically updated in both QuickBooks and Customer Manager
      - Multiple users can easily collaborate and share information in Customer Manager without the depot - information added by one user is automatically seen by other users

Customer Manager offers additional features like 24/7 online access and mobile access - check out the Features page of our website for more information!

If I use it for a while and then cancel the monthly service fee will I still have access and functionality as of the termination date or do I lose my data?

    • John Says:

      Hi Bob,

When you cancel your subscription to Customer Manager you won’t have access to the account any longer, however if you decide you really wanted to stay when your account is reactivated you will have access to your data again.

I signed up wanting to use CM On my iPhone. Now I find out that I can’t get adobe flash player to work on iPhone. I guess I need to cancel, how can I do that?

    • Jon Says:

      Hi Enid,

We actually have a great mobile application for your iPhone! On your Customer manager homepage simply click “Go Mobile” and it will instruct you in getting the application on your iPhone.

Once you’ve started to use the mobile application, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at jon_fasoli@intuit.com to let me know how you are liking it and what we can do to make the mobile application better for your business! Thanks for the great feedback!

When will the ability to export to Excel be available?
And when will the capacity to produce reports be set up?

I just started a trial period, but cannot possibly see why these two features wouldn’t be a basic part of this program -

      Thanks, Patty

    • John Says:

Hi Patty… Excel export is on our short list. We know it is important. We’d love to hear what kind of reports you are intersted in. Thanks for trying Customer Manager. We think you’ll be happy with our pace of progress making improvements in the future.
